Teknik Sualtı Ltd. is the mussel farming pioneer in Turkey.

Mussel farming is a well established type of aquaculture that utilized for ages. European countries are producing approximately 600.000 ton mussels every year. Spain, Italy, France and Netherlands are the main producers. But Turkey did not have a single legitamate mussel farm, up until now .

"A new era is beginning!"

Teknik Sualti Ltd. has seen the gap and room for improvement in aquaculture for bivalves and has started its investments. Our first step is building two mussel farms with the capacity of 3500 tons/year. As we speak the first farm is being setup.At last Turkey will have mussels with a known origin and unsurpassed quality.

During the permit process we setup a pilot farm which has produced high yields. Although not much, but the sales have also begun to special customers.
